Police felicitate meritorious students

Sanjoy Kumar Barman, Mathabhanga:Police of Nayarhat camp felicitated 4 meritorious students of Panigram High School and Icchaganj Shukurchad High School of Nayarhat Gram Panchayat of No. 1 block of Mathabhanga on Sunday at noon. Panigram High School student Bhumika Barman got 565 marks in secondary examination and Mamuni Khatun got 459 marks in higher secondary examination and became the topper of the school. Besides, Barnali Roy Karjee, a student of Ichchaganj Shukurchad High School, got 617 marks and Koel Dakua got 422 marks in the secondary examination and became the topper of the school. Nayarhat Police Camp Incharge Asraf Alam said, ‘4 meritorious students were felicitated with wreaths and certificates and were wished success in their future life”. Nayarhat education fans applauded the role of the police for taking such an initiative for the first time in Nayarhat area.
