A cyclist died after being hit by a truck loaded with cement
News Desk, Dinhata: A truck loaded with cement crushed a cyclist. The incident happened on Monday morning in Peulaguri area of Dinhata-Kurshahat road. The identity of the dead cyclist is not yet known. The police have already recovered the body and seized the killer truck. But the driver is absconding. According to the details of the incident, a truck full of cement was going towards Nayarhat from Dinhata city this morning. When the truck went to Peulaguri area, it hit a cyclist. The cyclist’s head was crushed by the wheel of the truck. He died on the spot. After receiving the information, the police recovered the body from the spot. Besides, the police seized the truck. But the driver is absconding. The police of Dinhata police station have not yet identified the identity of the dead body. This incident has created a lot of excitement in the area.
